Sports cards are always popular. This early 1900's boxing card is an example of one of the lesser sports that was popularized on postcards. Changes in the sport make this card an unlikely scene today. In fact in my lifetime I don't remember seeing two Caucasian adult boxers in the ring together. The gloves and the footwear are also interesting, and one can actually see real turnbuckles on the ring posts. My how times have changed.
